Why is hide my email unavailable? I tried to test it but it is not working.
You need to be on iCloud+ i.e. paying for at least 50GB of iCloud storage

I have a TB. I figured it out. I just deleted the one I created and created a new one and it worked.
You may find things improve in a few weeks.
