iPhone Contacts

I have a work iPhone with a lot of contacts. I also have a personal iPhone. How can I get the work iPhone contacts to my personal phone? (I do have access to both Apple ID's)

iPhone 11, iOS 15

If you want to keep the contacts in sync, the easiest way of doing that is to use a 3rd party app.

If you are syncing Contacts to iCloud, you can change the ID on the personal phone, and download the contacts from iCloud.

When changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. If desired, also set up Family Sharing  between the IDs to keep access to your apps/purchases.

How to switch Apple IDs on your iPhone or iPad.

How to transfer all files from one iCloud account to another.

Family Sharing.

Family Sharing - Set up.

Once the contacts are synced, repeat the above to go back to the personal ID.
