Keep the hood open when you reset and when you reconnect (small almost invisible button in the back). That is the whole miracle. I do not know why. I almost send my earpods pro to apple for repair.

Hello~ I am glad that worked for you but in this case the OP clearly stated they had already done that and it didn’t work. Also note this was back on Feb. 12 th so the situation is most likely already taken care of by now.
