I can't find "Project properties" in imovie to change the aspect ratio size of my movie. I've read all the blogs etc. and they say to go to File > project properties but my application is not showing that choice. Please help.

You are correct. Unlike iMovie 9, there is no Project Properties selection in iMovie 10. Nor is there any specific function in iMovie 10 that enables one to change the 16:9 aspect ratio (screen dimensions). The screen dimensions are fixed. You can change the aspect ratio of a particular clip but iMovie will insert black bars or zoom the clip to fit the 16:9 screen dimensions.
