How do you search for files within iCloud Drive?
How can I search for specific files/folders or words within iCloud Drive.

Use the search field in a Finder Window. You can search for words in the filename. If you have added iCloud Drive to the sidebar of the Finder window, the search will show you matching items on iCloud Drive.
The search will also find text in text documents for example in XMP files:
Searching for the phrase "volcan" found these files on iCloud Drive containing the text:
