startup disk

I keep getting sent to internet recovery. I erased all data and want to restart so i can sell the computer. I have tried all of the suggested methods but cannot seem to select a startup disk.

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac

Use Disk Utility to erase an Intel-based Mac

  1. Select Macintosh HD in the sidebar of Disk Utility. Don't see Macintosh HD?
  2. Click the Erase button in the toolbar, then enter the requested details:
    • Name: Macintosh HD
    • Format: APFS or Mac OS Extended (Journaled), as recommended by Disk Utility
