Apple Pages keeps crashing

Apple Pages app keeps crashing. When I work on existing document it crashes as soon as I type the first letter.

This only happens when you work on an existing document.

I have restarted, deleted and re-installed the app.

So the one app I use the most is now absolutely useless and almost making my iPad a useless product.

Are you using iPadOS 15.3?
Check Settings > Pages > Version. Are you using version 11.2?
Check Settings > General > iPad Storage and be certain your free space is never less than 10% of your iPad’s total storage.
If your document is housed in iCloud Drive, be certain you have sufficient space there.

I have the same problem as the user Wantris,

All the steps you suggested have been performed and still have the same issue.

Please give us some alternative solutions.
