Dual Monitor Preference Issues (arrangement/after sleep and reboot)

I have a Mac Mini (2020, M1) running Monterey 12.2. When rebooting the machine or when returning from monitor sleep, The OS confuses my monitors. It does not retain the correct "extended/main display" settings. This mini was an upgrade from Mac Mini (late 2018) and I did not have this issue. Can anyone help?

Sidenote: During the initial setup I did observe a strange screen flicker but haven't seen in since.

Disable Sleep, it’s unnecessary on later Macs, all pain, no gain. To disable, check “Prevent…” in Energy Preferences and uncheck everything else, should fix. You can leave the display off time as is, unrelated to Sleep. Shut for long absences i.e. > 2 hours.
