No Admin after Big Sur update

I recently updated to Big Sur and now the only user I do have is standard and not Admin, I've tried every suggestion out there but still no luck, this is a last-ditch effort before I take my laptop to the nearest Apple store plz help

Big Sur upgrade issues - Admin removed from main/only user My wife has upgraded her Macbook Air to BIG SUR but now has No admin user and .AppleSetupDone file not found when trying all the fixes we see on line. can't create/login administrator account on big sur Hello, after resetting hard drive and reinstalling big sur, I can't create admin user. It takes too long and finally appears message: user creation failed. After rebooting system, user Appeared (I don't know why, creation failed), but can't login. Resetting password via Apple ID doesn't work either. I reinstalled system once again, same issue. Can anyone help me?

If you have followed similar instructions that erase that file on the startup volume, the above link may help.
