iMac isn't detecting any of my sd cards

My Mac isn't detecting my SD cards when I insert it into the slot. Troubleshooting ideas?


iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 12.1

Shut down your Mac then restart without the card inserted then insert the card and see if it is recognized. Mine is not recognized with card inserted from a cold boot.
