my mac.com mail disappeared when I upgraded to Big Sur

My mac.com mail disappeared when I upgraded to Big Sur, then I upgraded to Montery and the mail boxes are still empty. I have it on my iPhone. How to I get it back on my mac book?

Try removing the account and then adding it again.
