Apple TV Operating System Defect-Slide Show

Apple TV 4K is the most infuriating device and Apple have left problems unsolved for a long time which indicates that they do not put much effort into producing a fully fledged, fully featured great product. There are many posts spanning years from disgruntled purchasers that highlight the fact that the device cycles through a tiny fraction of photos in their collection. If ATV can stream music from the Mac then why can't its buffer keep refreshing in the background so that different photos are seen all the time? Also, the slideshow function is pathetic. In my case it will show about 3 photos then decide it's had enough and stop. In its present form it is woefully inadequate - Steve Jobs would be turning in his grave.
