IMAP server issue on mail app / gmail account

Hi all,

I have an issue accessing my gmail account through the mail app both on my iPhone and MacBook pro. The message IMAP server issue appears, advising that I might have connected to my account with some kind of mistake. However, it was working fine until today. I have unlinked my account, deleted the app, redownloaded it, done the software updates, went on my google account to make sure the IMAP was connected. After doing all of that, nothing has changed and I cannot access my Gmail on the mail app.

Could someone help?
