Multiple entries for same contact name.

You may have the same contacts in multiple email accounts. Either remove the contacts from the rarely used email account or disable contacts from the rarely used mail account in the Mail app.


Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

Hope it is OK to join in. I noticed none of my contacts had pictures in iMessage so I took a look in Contacts; I have 9 duplicate entries for all of my contacts (100s). I’m assuming this might be the problem. How did this happen? How do I resolve this? Thank you.
