No blue line under contact when sending text message

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. Normally when I send a text, a blue line would go across the screen to let me know the message was delivered. Now when I send messages the blue line is gone. Is there any way to get this to come back? Is there something in the settings I need to turn on maybe? Thanks in advance for the help!
