Apple TV device doesn’t respond to remote. Batteries are fresh. How do I proceed

can an Apple TV 3 device be reset f it doesn’t respond to the remote control?

You can try pressing the menu and down together to reset. If you have an iPhone/iPad use their remote and then try the remote again.
