Can I buy "apple for education" in store?

I want to buy a new MacBook Pro using the education discounts since it is for college but I want to go directly to a store to buy it there. Can I still have the education discount? Or is it only for buying online?

Did you think to call your store directly to ask what student credential are required for a store purchase? Use Store Locator.
