Is Imsc osx Montery compatible with Seagate external disc hard drive

I have recently bought IMAC OSX Montery

My seagate external hard disc's USB cable does not fit into any ports on the back of my compuer.

where can I buy an USB cable compatible with my seagate external hard disc to connect it to my computer>

Does Imac OSX Montery support the external hard disc?

If not do I have to buy an Apple external hard disc to back up my computer?

If you bought the new 24" iMac it includes 4 USB-C cables. You can buy a USB-C to USB-A adapter or cable to connect your external hard drive to it. USB-C to USB-A Adapter (Data & Charging) - Amazon.com

Yes, you hard drive is compatible with the iMac, and no, Apple does not make any external drives.

First of all I want to thank Keith Barkley

for her reply to my query

My problem still exists.

The USB Cable supplied with my Seagate external hard drive does not fit into the back of my iMac 24”12.1 OS X Monterey which has four ports. ( two thunderbolt & two ordinary)

May be I shall have to go to any apple computer shop with my external hard drive with its USB cable to see if there is a connecter which will be compatible with my iMac latest model
