screen recording while on game

hi! i tried to screen record while i was playing my video game with the screen record’s mic on and my video game’s mic was also on but unfortunately it didn’t saved because of an error. is it not really possible to screen record while the screen record’s mic is on as well as the game’s mic?? i was trying to record the game for memories because i was playing with my friend and i was hoping that our voices could be heard. i hope someone will answer:(
