I like to pay my nail lady with Apple Pay and I have an apple credit card, but for some reason it comes out of my debit card. I have my Apple Card as the preferred way to pay. What am I doing wrong? I’m new to this!

Are you paying her at a payment terminal or through messages? You are not allowed to legally pay her through messages (https://applecash.greendot.com/termsconditions/) Make sure your Apple Card is the default payment card in your Wallet. If they do not accept Mastercard it may default to your debit card.
