Changing black menu bar
I have just updated to Monterey and I now have a black menu bar. I want to return to the white/clear menu bar I had before but I cannot find a way to do that.

Hello martyartie,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It looks like you're having a question about the Menu Bar on your Mac, and we'd be happy to help.
In order to go back to the white/clear Menu Bar, go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Display. Then enable "Reduce transparency".

Thank you very much. This strikes me as a typical case of "nerdview". Those who designed the system knew what they meant by "reduce transparency", without thinking that ordinary mortals would not be able to work out that "reduce transparency" meant "change menu bar from black to white".
