Apple TV is stuck in loop with my apple 13 phone . Giving me verification code but no place to put it

Older devices require signing in differently. You will need to enter your password, then manually request the code, and add it to the end of the password.

Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Apple Support (CA)
