I can’t get my watch to charge. The charger works with my other watch. It shows like a lightning bolt on it

Did this coincide with the loading on of update 8.3 and is it the Apple Watch Series 7 please.

I ask because I have the same problem and I joined this forum hoping it was to help each other with our problems.

YES, I have updated both my iPhone and iWatch series2 and immediately noticed my iwatch battery drains too quickly. I have applied all the resets and have turned off notifications and other normal iphone/watch communications that never presented a problem. My watch went for lasting 24 plus hours to less than 10 hours coincidentally with one or the other or both ios upgrades.

Sounds like the watch is in low power mode. Place the watch on the charger for a few hours and then press and hold the side button until you see the apple logo.

Even when I hold the side slide and the crown nothing happens

Very night I have this same problem and I’ve followed the steps but my watch still won’t charge. I’m ready to return the device at this point
