Dogboz,

Thank you for providing us with those additional details about your issue.

In addition to checking for any updates, as we've suggested above, we also recommend removing the watch face, then adding it back. This step refreshes the feature and it might help.

Change the watch face on your Apple Watch

You might also try unpairing your Apple Watch, then setting it up again. This can help install a fresh copy of watchOS onto the watch.

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

Set up your Apple Watch

Hello Dogboz,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that steps on the Apple Watch are showing in kilometers unexpectedly, and we're here for you.

When you're in the middle of a workout in the Workout app, you should be able to highlight the metric that's most important to you. You do this by raising your wrist, then turning the Digital Crown. Check out the section "Track your progress" in the article below to learn more:

Use the Workout app on your Apple Watch

If this issue doesn't seem to be expected, then there are some steps you can take to further isolate the issue such as restarting both devices and ensuring they're fully updated.

Hi No that does not work I already tried to restart it’s always the first thing I do.

You’ve misunderstood the issue going to the workout apps it all shows in miles but it’s the overview on the clockface that shows kilometres that’s the only place it shows kilometres everywhere else every other setting is set to miles. But for some strange reason the clock face shows kilometres every report in the health app shows miles everything in the workout app shows miles it’s just the clockface that shows kilometres
