My iMac (2020) won't shut down.

It restarts from a black screen shortly after I turn it off with a message to press any key.

when I log in a message refers to a problem which refers to a settings conflict problem and indicates this is being sent to Apple. The code text ir totally foreign to me.

Hold down the power button on the back of the computer until it shuts down.
