Completely Blocking stolen iPhone so it won't be usable?

Hi I would like to check opportunities to completely disable my iPhone because it was stolen. I am in the Netherlands and the phone is now in Morocco. Is it possible to disable everything so it is a trash for those who stolen it? Tha KS for those who will respond.

Yes. it is possible.

Do not remove the device from your Apple ID / iCloud account

If you remove the device from your account after you erase it, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use your device.

Else no one else can get into this iPhone without your Apple ID and Passcodes

Did you enable Find My?

If you didn't turn on Find My [device] before your device was lost or stolen, it can't be used to locate your device nor you can use the IMEI number for tracking the device.

The best action would be to Change your Apple ID password and change the passwords for other internet accounts on your device. This can include email accounts, Facebook, or Twitter, etc...
