MacBook Air Software Update

Hello,

I currently have an early 2015 MacBook Air that is at OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5. My current browser is Google Chrome and it is in need of an update. However, Google Chrome cannot update until my computer does a software update but when I go to the App Store there are no updates available. How should I update my Mac??

Thanks.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on El Capitan, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.

Catalina and newer won't run 32-bit software; download and use Go64 to scan for it. To check other programs, click here and look them up.
