I can't see any roads on my "Maps" app

No matter how many times I re-boot or change settings, I still can't see any roads on my "Maps" app. I do see road names but all roads are white on white. What's wrong? It's a MacBook Pro 16" with 32 GB memory, Apple M! Max and running macOSMonterey version 122.1. It was delivered to me Dec 2021 brand new.

Thanks for your reply. I did go to Google Maps and it appears the same, white lines on white background. However, I did a "tint" on my screen ( System Preferences/Accessibility/Enable Color Filters) with a light blue tint, and I can barely see the outline of the roads. Of course everything else is tinted blue also. I can't find a way to increase the contrast, and darken lines without darkening the whole screen. I also checked the "increase contrast" on the same page as above, but it doesn't help. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Also, I sent a "feedback" to Apple about the problem. Thanks again.
