How do I turn off the activation lock for a deceased owner?
I inherited an IPAD and do not have any of the relevant information from the previous owner, who is deceased. How can I turn off the activation lock?

If this iPad is very old, it may not be worth jumping through all of these procedures to resurrect an old and, possibly, obsolete iOS device.
