Face ID not working
Face ID not working and my phone is over a year old. Will Apple fix/repair my phone at no cost due to this being a security issue?

If it's out of warranty, you will probably still have to pay. You can get more information about repair prices here: iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support.
However, you can check the consumer law rights for your country here: Apple Products and Consumer Law Rights. Your iPhone's problem could be covered by it.
