How do I recover deleted text messages when my phone wasn’t backed up?

You can't, they are gone.

You don't. No backup, no restore.

IMessages? Hopefully you had iMessage turn on so it would sync on iCloud? If not and no back ups...you are out of luck.

Whether this is true or not, the messages have been deleted. Therefore, they’re gone.

If you have iCloud Message turned on and delete a message it is gone from everywhere.
