As you have already consulted an Apple Authorised Service Provider, you will have had your iPad assessed by a qualified technician. As a cost-effective repair has been ruled-out, you already have your answer.

Your choices appear to relatively straightforward:

a) An out-of-warranty exchange for a reconditioned iPad of the same model (the cost being c.60% of the “as new” price of the iPad), or

b) Consider putting money otherwise spent on the out-of-warranty exchange towards a new or reconditioned iPad model of your choice.
