How much storage do I need for I Cloud

That's something you must determine.

If you have a large photo library, if you have too many files you need to store in iCloud Drive, etc. It's really up to you.

You can always increase your iCloud storage space and see if it meets your needs. If not, you can decrease the storage space later.
