macOS 12.1: Calendar searching with no results

In Calendar the search function doesn't bring any search results. What is to do? With iPhone XS and iOS 15.2 no such problems.

Calendar search not working There are events in my Calendar which I can find by searching in the Calendar app on my iPhone, but do not show up when I do the same search on my Mac. The events do appear in the Calendar apps on both devices. The only difference is that search doesn't find them in Calendar search on my Mac. Spotlight search doesn't find them either. I've tried restarting my mac, including restarting it in Safe Mode. Those actions don't help. I'm running Venture 13.2.1 on Apple Silicon

Calendar: 'SEARCH FIELD' When using the 'search field' on the calendar on both of the office Macs nothing shows up that has been searched for but, I can do this on my phone and iPad. Any advice regarding this problem would be welcomed, as we use our calendar on a daily basis. All my devices are on the same iCloud-if this helps? Thank you!!!!!

I've fixed that problem by reindexing Spotlight (see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201716). I've added and removed the whole internal ssd drive into the privacy tab. This takes a lot of CPU for some minutes for my MBP with internal 256 GiB ssd drive.
