Delay in sending text messages to none apple users

I have an IPhone 12 Pro, each time I send anything to a none apple user I get this green bar indicating that it’s sending. This does not happen with apple contacts, is anyone dealing with this?

i used my tablet and this doesn’t seem to happen there, just the phone.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 15

You may not be in the cellular network coverage area.

SMS, MMS, WiFi Call, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
