I am using OS high sierra at present but can find no recovery software.

I am using OS High Sierra on a Mid 2010 Mac Pro desktop. I have tried to use Cmd R to get to recovery mode, but my system keep bypassing it and going to the normal opening screen. Can anyone please help me to put this right?

Thanks

The drivers may and may not load in Recovery mode.

I can testify the newest Apple Mouse and Keyboard work in High Sierra and Monterey.

In both cases - Recovery Mode with a Bluetooth anything is very iffy at best.
