My iPhone now tells me "Calendar Upcoming Event" all day, every day and I don't want or need it - I have so many events on a daily basis that I don't need this and it is annoying! I set reminder notices for myself.
Xmas has enough issues to deal with without this.

Please disable it under Settings > Calendar > Customise Notification > Upcoming Events [Disable]

When I try that I don't get the screen/link you show. I go to Settings > Calendar and get the following screen:
