How to replace charging cable

I bought a charging cable about 6 months but it stopped working and inside the box it states that it has 1 year of warranty wanted to know how to use that warranty to have it replaced

Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple

and

Returns & Refunds - Shopping Help - Apple

and maybe contact apple
