Hi Apple community. I want to do Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) but I cannot afford to buy Apple computer. Is it possible to install macOS on a virtual machine or what would be the cheapest way to go about it?
Based on the licensing terms of macOS, it must be run on Apple hardware. That includes virtual machine guests too.
I suggest you read the licence agreement for Big Sur, and in particular the final sentence of Section 2. If you want to be an ACSP, then you're going to need a Mac.
