Mac HD accidental erasure
I’m preparing my MacBook to send back to apple, followed the steps to prepare the laptop but accidentally erased Mac HD drive. How do I get it back? I can’t seem to reinstall OS. Just get a file icon with a question mark.

Hi,
First of all, you should resetting NVRAM, then start up in Recovery Mode and reformat the internal drive, then reinstall macOS which could works.

The reset of NVRAM didn’t seem to work but after several tries to reinstall OS X, I was able to get it to work. In had to partition the SSD to create Macintosh HD again. Luckily everything was smooth after this. Thank you!
