Your first “other” iPhone should be signed into the same Apple ID as your previous iPhone. You should also use the same SIM card from your previous iPhone in your first “other” iPhone. This will allow you make and receive calls on your first “other” iphone and you will get all your text messages.

You can repeat the process when you are ready to move to your second “other” iPhone.
