update iphone 6

a message said I had to update my iphone 6 or I wouldnt be able to use it, so I did. Now its stuck on "verifying update" and I cant get it to do anything

The iPhone 6, released by Apple over seven years ago, cannot be updated beyond iOS 12.X.
