graphics and photos do not appear in emails received in Apple Mail app

My incoming email appears without graphics, headers, photos etc. on both iPad and MacBook. Is this something to do with settings or more likely to be something to do with my Mail service provider which is mail.com? Thanks

Hi gop1947,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with your email. It sounds like you don't receive graphics or photos in attachments.

Since this is happening on two different devices, it is likely an issue or setting on your providers side.

To double-check, you could try testing with an iCloud email address and find out if graphics and photos appear in those emails. Here's how to Create a primary email address for iCloud Mail if you don't already have one.

Have a fantastic day!
