I have Apple TV 4K and a Siri remote. The remote is uncontrollable, moving in opposite directions and entirely randomly around the screen. I have followed the apple remote troubleshooting guide, restarted Apple TV, unplugged Apple TV - the problem persists. As I sit here writing the remote is jumoping all around the screen How can I fix this?

Thanks! After trying the solutions, I am using the remote on my iPhone with no problems. It is important to NOT connect the malfunctioning remote, and just use the iPhone remote. Since this proved to me the remote was the problem, I am going to get a new remote.
You are welcome. I’m glad you found a solution! Personally, I don’t even use my Siri Remote anymore. I always have my iPhone near and love the Control Center remote a lot.
