Apple Notes: Sort folders alphabetically

I have approximately 100 folders in my Notes. The folders are not listing alphabetically. I'd like the folders to sort alphabetically. How do I achieve this?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

AFAIK - not possible.

One can sort within the folder in alphabetical order but the Folder themselves - can not.

For what reason would this be? I love Apple but for the life of me, I can't understand the lack of obvious control we have for simple tasks!
