United Kingdom is a supported country or region for Apple Pay


Countries and Regions that support Apple Pay : https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207957


India is not on that list, so leads me to believe your region on your device is not set correctly.


You can change your device country or region by going to: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204031


Settings > General > Language and Region > Change to United Kingdom


Also may want to change your Apple ID Country/ Region. You can do that by following the resource below.

Wondering if you have changed your country in your Apple ID account yet ?


Your Apple ID is the account you use to access everything Apple,

including services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more.


It includes the email address and password you use to sign in,

as well as the contact, payment, and security details you use across Apple services.

How to change your AppleID Country or Region:


       NB: Before you update your location, you must spend your store credit, (or ask for your balance to be set to zero.)

       cancel your subscriptions, and get a payment method for your new country or region
