Can I shift Macbook "movies" folder to external SSD?

Am having macbook pro M1 256GB variant. Running on current MacOS 12.1

Out of the system usage, 60GB is being used in Movies Folder. where my Final cut plugins are kept.

Can this folder be moved to an external drive to save space.
