I have an old project in iMovie 10 I need to transfer to iMovie 10.2.5

Open iMovie 10.2.5 in the library that contains the project. The project will then show up in the projects browser view in iMovie 10.2.5.

Once you update the older version of the iMovie library by opening it in iMovie 10.2.5, the library will no longer be able to be opened in the older version of iMovie.
