Just loaded OS Monterey on my MackBook Pro 14,2. It starts to boot, makes it 3.75 of the way, and just hangs up. Any ideas?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Stuck in “start up disk screen” after updating to Monterey Hi everyone, I tried to update my MacBook Air(2017 or 2018) to Monterey from High Sierra. It downloaded the update without problems, but now it’s been stuck on this screen for hours. I restarted and nothing changed.
