I'm trying to setup a apple tv and i can see the light flashing when i press the button on the remote control but the system is not fully responding, how can i get it to work
Possibly the remote isn’t linked to the Apple TV box (anymore). Then it would acknowledge the signal by blinking the status light, but not execute any commands.

Do both steps (unlinking and linking) with the current remote.
